So as some of you might have already seen, Kevin Spacey recently made a clip featuring him switching between being in character as Frank Underwood and himself. While I know there's a decent amount of people who might unfortunately agree with what he says or may even double down on attacking him; it'll reignite debate around his entire part in the show regardless.
In my humble opinion, I don't think praise for an actor's performance should make people overlook their actions. I would be lying if I said people didn't enjoy the character of Frank Underwood and I would still be lying as well if I said the final season brought things full circle. In truth, I hate seeing people waste their time on this aspect of the show and wish it wouldn't bring down how great it was overall.
Lastly, I don't mean this post to come off as toxic or offensive to anyone he disagrees with my point of view. All I implore is that everyone who has been a fan of the show, just hear me out as some who has also felt let down by the controversy itself.
