Sir Bruce Bullerby was a British newspaper publisher who owned The Clarion.
Biography[]
Bruce Bullerby was the owner of The Clarion, a newspaper supportive of the Conservative Party. As a favor to Junior Whip Tim Stamper, he engaged in a relationship with Princess Charlotte (a former member of the royal family) and published her controversial memoirs under threat of blackmail; pictures had been taken of Bullerby and Charlotte having sex. The publication of her memoirs discredited the royal family, weakening their opposition to Prime Minister Francis Urquhart's hard-right policies. Bullerby remained active in politics, seeking to become a member of the House of Lords.
