Charles "Charlie" Collingridge is a British businessman and former military officer. His brother, Henry Collingridge, served as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1990 to 1992.
Charles served in the military, two years of national service that had left him with little more than a sense of his own inadequacy in the order of life. He later became an alcoholic. Charles had always tried to do the decent thing but he was accident prone.
A scandal fabricated by Francis Urquhart concerning Charles and insider trading led to Henry announcing his resignation as prime minister.
