Jessica Masters was a resident of Gaffney, who died in a car accident.

Biography

Early life

Jessica went to high school before her death, and was supposed to have gone to Furman University on a volleyball athletic scholarship.

Death

While driving past the Peachoid, she attempted to text her boyfriend that it looked like an anus, but she ran off the road while she wasn't paying attention and was killed in the accident.

Legacy

After Jessica's death, the local reverend held a memorial for her.

Likewise, Oren Chase attempted to use her death as ammunition against Frank Underwood as he had supported continued funding for the structure. However, Frank and Gene Clancey end up turning the scandal onto him after it is revealed the road's lack of guard rail was under his jurisdiction.

Frank offered her parents a settlement for the town as well as Furman University sets up a scholarship in Jessica's name.
