John Stroud is a British politician who served as Leader of the Labour Party and Leader of the Opposition during Francis Urquhart's premiership.
History[]
John Stroud was the leader of the Labour Party, and therefore Leader of the Opposition, during Prime Minister Francis Urquhart's tenure as prime minister in the 1990s. He supported the monarchy's liberal views on economic inequality, and he called out Urquhart for his opposition to these views. He conceded defeat at the 1997 general election when Labour lost to the Conservatives.
