Biography[]
Peter MacKenzie was a Conservative Party MP, and his main focus was on the health industry and the NHS. In 1990, Prime Minister Henry Collingridge appointed him Health Secretary, and he had to deal with the issue of the government making cuts to the NHS' funding. He emerged as one of the contenders in the leadership election following Collingridge's resignation, but he was forced to drop out after accidentally running over a disabled man.
