Stephen Kendrick is a Labour Party MP. He knew the public relations consultant Roger O'Neill during their youth, and, in 1990, O'Neill leaked Prime Minister Henry Collingridge's plan to make cuts to hospital spending at the behest of Chief Whip Francis Urquhart. When Kendrick brought this up before the House of Commons, it caused an uproar, and Collingridge's sudden announcement that he would hold off the cuts led to calls for him to resign.
